Jacob Mullins

president & Founder

Jacob is the President and Founder of Mullins Mechanical and Welding, LLC. He also serves as the qualifying agent for the company’s HVAC, mechanical, boiler, and process piping licenses for multiple states.

At an early age, Jacob learned a strong work ethic as he began work in the mechanical industry with his uncle who owned a local HVAC company. During high school, he participated in the work-based learning program where he was employed with a metal fabrication shop. After graduation, Jacob started his career with a mechanical contractor that focused primarily on the construction of healthcare and educational facilities. He later became Superintendent of the newly formed Retrofit/Industrial Division where he gained extensive knowledge in all phases of the construction process in manufacturing and industrial facilities. This division also installed the larger systems for other departments within the company that included piping systems, air handlers, boilers, chillers, and other various types of equipment.

In 2008, Jacob Mullins chased his dreams and founded Mullins Mechanical and Welding. The company first began working at a local chemical processing plant to upgrade their aging facility. Soon thereafter, the business grew to include direct-to-owner work from other chemical companies, wholesale bakeries, and poultry processing plants.

With over 20 years of experience as a mechanical contractor and his extensive knowledge in mechanical and piping systems, rigging and equipment installation, Jacob continues to lead Mullins Mechanical and Welding into larger and more complex opportunities. Today, the company’s portfolio has grown to include projects throughout the country and abroad. Mullins Mechanical and Welding continues to perform work for direct-to-owner clients and multiple general contractors, with project sizes ranging from several thousand dollars to large multi-million-dollar contracts.

In his free time, Jacob enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, riding horses, and being in the outdoors. Jacob is also an avid fan of the Atlanta Falcons and frequently attends their games.
